Dylan is an amazing, young, encouraging Christian who loves students. He shares the gospel with enthusiasm and life. He has made an amazing JESUS contribution to our school’s FCA here at Liberty Middle School, and has led many students to grow closer to Jesus. Keep up the great work, Dylan!
Mr. Helms has helped me deepen my faith immensely by modeling and explicitly teaching me accountability, responsibility, and spiritual discipline. He encouraged my relationship with Jesus and instilled positive character traits in myself and others. He gives all glory to God, and I believe all can benefit from hearing his message.
Eric Helms has an incredible story to tell of God’s grace finding us no matter how far we are. His story captivated the hearts and minds of our kids and we had many come face to face with their creator and made decisions that impacted their eternity.
Eric Helms has made a huge impact on my life. He served as my strength and conditioning coach/team chaplain in highschool and then mentored me throughout college. Eric’s love and passion for the Lord as well as his intentionality with us as students helped me grow in my walk with Christ and instilled in me a desire to serve with students today. His passion for the gospel is contagious and it stirs up students to action.
I am now a middle school teacher hosting bible studies in my own classroom and am also heavily involved with our Church’s youth. I am so thankful that Eric took the time to discipline me. My life, and the life of my family and students, would not be the same without his impact
Eric brought a great message that captured the focus and attention of all middle schoolers 6-8th grades. His testimony of struggles and triumphs in life was very relatable to our students. Every student had a chance to make life changing decisions and prayers for their life. 118 students came forward to either know more about Christ or to trust Christ for the first time. Eric’s passion for students and bettering their lives through the Gospel is very evident by his interactions with all students and boldness to pray and follow up with them throughout their journey in faith
I have known Dylan since he was a freshman in high school, as he played football for me all 4 years at River Ridge. To see the life change that he has made in the time from graduation until now is absolutely amazing. From talking to Dylan now compared to then, it is very evident that the Holy Spirit has caught hold of him and he is on fire for Christ. An amazing thing to see.
Lives have already been impacted by Pastor Eric. You will not be disappointed if he speaks into the lives of your young people. He has a great understanding of how to share the gospel. I thank God for people like him.
Eric Helms’ story needs to be heard. He communicates a powerful testimony of life change with the some of the deepest humility, authenticity, and love for people that I have ever seen. Our students love his bold conviction and call to life change
When I scheduled Eric Helms to speak at our school, I didn’t know what to expect. He came that Wednesday morning, introduced himself, set up and I let him have the floor. As soon as he started, he captivated the audience in a way that by the end people were truly listening. He also presented the gospel in the simplest way possible.
Eric Helms is an example of a living sacrifice. The Lord has put on his heart to serve schools, athletes, and students in his area. He uses his spiritual gift of “teaching” to reach kids for Christ. Students at Lassiter are always drawn to Eric because of his passion for Christ. Last year Eric came and spoke at Lassiter twice. The first time he spoke he was able to give a Gospel presentation. The next time he spoke, now knowing his audience, he picked up where he left off and talked about how to grow that relationship deeper with Christ. His story is so amazing and so encouraging and I am so thankful that the Lord called him by name into His Kingdom and into His ministry.
Eric Helms is a very passionate lover of Jesus who has been called to use his gifts to encourage, change and invest in the current teenage generation. His message is for all generations but God continues to bless Eric as he shares how Jesus changed his life to middle school and high school students. I highly recommend Eric to speak at your school, team or community event!!
I’ve had Eric come and speak at 2 FCA’s now, one at my former school Brookwood High School and one at my current school, North Gwinnett High School. Both times I’ve been beyond impressed and inspired!! He has brought me to tears both times by bringing students to God, and through that he truly makes an impact each time he speaks!!!!.
I am a recently retired educator from Cherokee County School District. I was previously a middle school assistant principal as well as a middle school teacher where Dylan Reuss was one of my students. I was a sponsor for Wildcat Worship for many years, and I understand the difficulty of finding good speakers for your club.
Dylan works for Driven to Encourage Ministries, which is a ministry I trusted to speak at my club on several occasions. He has led discipleship groups in Forsyth, Cobb, and Cherokee county schools, while also speaking at several North Georgia FCA and First Priority clubs. He truly has a heart for students. He is a trustworthy young man, who relates to middle school and high school students so well. Please consider having him speak at your club/discipleship group. I wanted to let you know what an impact you had on our second son, Wyatt, when you spoke at Northwestern Middle School FCA. When Wyatt got home from school he was very excited to tell the family about you and how you explained the meaning of the Christmas tree. On Christmas day after all the gifts were open, Wyatt asked if we could pray. He led the prayer, and I wish I had recorded it. It was the most beautiful prayer about our saviour. Afterwards, Wyatt’s sister remarked about how good Wyatt’s prayer was. He just really changed our focus, and I didn’t even realize that his messages came largely from you at FCA. I just wanted to thank you for your amazing impact and for following Christ’s calling.
I consider Eric and Michele Helms as some of the finest and sweetest Christians I have ever met. Their passion to serve the Lord and reach students with the gospel is simply amazing. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate them both a 15!
